Crafted by God

As a Christian, embracing my curiosity with the stars wasn’t easy at first. Growing up in a community where astrology was often dismissed as “the devil’s work” or something meaningless, I felt torn. Yet, something about the stars kept calling to me. My later interest was sparked by one of my closest friends, who was delving into astrology and learning so much about herself and others. Around the same time, I was having spiritual experiences that I couldn’t quite understand. Intrigued but cautious, I decided to pray about it and seek God’s guidance before exploring astrology further.

Not long after, I found myself distancing from my church. After years of active ministry, I began feeling a deep disconnect—not just with the pastor, but with much of what was happening in the church. Then, when the world suddenly shut down, I was given the time to sit with my thoughts and questions. In those quiet moments, I turned to God, as I always have, seeking answers. What I discovered brought me peace: our God is not just a distant ruler, but a father, leader, and friend. He desires the best for us, but He also created us with free will, allowing us to explore His vast universe. I came to believe that there are no coincidences in God’s creation—everything, including the stars, has a purpose.

When we consider nature, we see clear connections between humans and plants. We share similar cellular structures, energy needs, and growth patterns. Plants were once our primary sources of food and medicine, until capitalism and greed (literally and fugitively, lol) disrupted that harmony. Given the profound importance of nature, it seems strange that some would argue that the stars and planets—as beautiful as they are—are mere decoration without purpose. To me, that notion is wild.

Astrology, as I was introduced to it, is more like a divine roadmap created by God to help us navigate this intricate simulation we call life. Throughout history, astrology has played a significant role in many cultures. It was used for predicting events, guiding agricultural practices, making political decisions, advising on military strategies, determining auspicious times, understanding personal traits, forecasting the future, and even guiding medical treatments.

Through my journey into astrology, I’ve uncovered insights about myself and the world that far surpass anything I’ve learned in formal education or institutions. My mental health has reached a level of clarity and stability that I never thought possible. I’ve attained a profound sense of understanding and inner peace—something many spend half their lives in therapy seeking (therapy is very instrumental in healing journeys). This exploration has not only deepened my faith but has also enriched my comprehension of life, drawing me closer to the God who crafted not only this earth and its stars, but also me.
